I studied plastic arts, specifically painting. I studied arts because since I was little I was related and delighted with the subject, so one day I decided and went for it. My career is broad in the world of work, although many people do not know, you can work in museums, as a teacher, in project management, as a visual artist or whatever goal comes to mind.
The advantage of working on this is that you can follow your dreams, even if it is difficult, you will always find a way to fulfill them. More in the case if you are a person who is more sensitive and is not worried about the money you will earn but of being committed to what you do and how you grow as an artist.
Perhaps a disadvantage is not feeling safe, sometimes you are not happy with your work and you feel that everything is falling apart.
Sometimes you feel that everything becomes more difficult because you only depend on you to work, and people believe that it is not a "real job", at least that happens in our country.
My career is not well known at all, most people think that you only waste time doing cartoons or believe you are a "postmodern" who does not know what he does or says. Many people in Chile do not take the weight to the art, I think it is because they do not understand it, in my opinion the teaching about art in our country is poor.
To study and work in the field of the arts you need vocation, perseverance, love for what you do and desire to grow and learn every day.
I do not know how much money I want to earn in my life, obviously I would love to earn a lot, but as long as I work on what I love (and do not die, or commit suicide in the attempt) I will be happy.

favorite artist
well, my favorite artist in this moment is Monet, but depends in whats is going on in my life.
Monet its a french painter from 1870's, its a impressionist artist, or creator of impressionist, who do his work based on the color, without being pretentious and without looking for a perfect or "acceptable" theme. He paint from the light and which color vibrate from the things what he see. without the ambition to be in the best salons and paint what he believes right. I like his work because of the color and the way of putting the material on the frame.
i think that i want to be a little bit like him as a painter, right now in my life i'm looking for references and thing that interest me to use as a painter. Monet inspires me in its use of color, i have always been attracted by what can be seen beyond common objects, how to see the light in a different way, how to see the shadow and all that this implies.
I think my favorite piece of work of Monet its Haystacks at the End of Summer, Morning Effect, 1891.
I saw this paint on a book last year. I like this piece exactly from what I said earlier in these paintings you can clearly see everything thats goes through the mind of Monet, how he can see the color on the surface and how the light acts on the place and the object. I also like the brush stroke. I admired the perfect essence of the sunset, and the atmosphere.
